The New Reciever

Jonas controlled and ´´perfect´´ world has already choos the new reciever of memories at the ceremonie of twelve. The new reciever will start his new training. He meet the Giver and had his first training, that was to experience snow and cold, he slid in a sled. For the first time he feel free and plesure abot what he was doing. her e jonas realize what his assignments will be and how he will be trained, but he hadnt feel extreme physical pain, just sun burn. nos jonas feel diferent and is starting to open his mind to a new world diferent from his society. jonas for the first time realized the diference beyween pain and pleasure. Jonas will be able to feel and be the brave anof to that extreme pain? How he will react to that?
 Changes in his view...
An other thing that start changing in jonas and he reacts by telling to the Giver is that he start seing more colors, like in Fiona´s red hair.

 Mememories
Its incredible how can he learn the importance if memories in our life, and how we learn of things that happened in our past. i think that the giver will teach all the readers of this book how memories are impostant for us and how pain affect us and also what is pleasure in life and the importance of it.

THE RULES OF JONAS( RECIEVER OF MEMORIES)
He had never, within his memory, been tempted to lie. (70)
When I read the last rule I was shocked just like jonas was. YOU MAY LIE,like you see on the quote above Jonas reacted really bad to this because is something that he had learn since we was little and it would not be something good to change. I also think that because is not easy for me to just start saying lot of lies just because im allowed to. I was really shocked with this and I dont know how jonas will act by that rule. Is he going to lie? Our he will be honest of what he did and think?

  2. Isabel, I think the same, foe me the memories are very important because it helps you remind of what you have life and who are you, but in this book the memories are very strange for Jonas, the memories that Jonas receives are about all the years in the community and how it was build or the reasons why they don’t have snow and colors...also it is important because only the giver and the receiver of memories are able to receive them.

  3. THANK YOU! Ana Isa I think that then on in the book he will start lying a lot because he would not know what to repond to some questions and things like that.

  4. Mnauela, thankyou! I think that the memories of pain and war will help people in future to dont make that again and dont make people suffer. This memeories help them recognize what happened on the past and how they can renew that in a better way.
